Solitude

There’s no need for smoke and mirrors or dramatic entertainment for you to experience God. In fact, we argue it’s just the opposite! All you need is to get away from the chaos and find a place where you can quietly be alone with His word and use these tools.

Self-Reflect

This world is tough and it’s easy to collect baggage or pick up bad habits. The light of Jesus has to shine on all your junk in order for you to be who He’s made you to be. Use His word to routinely search for areas of sin that require confession and repentance.

Pray

Prayers don’t have to be fancy. They’re just conversations with God. Come before Him with reverence, but be reminded that He already knows what’s in your heart. Simply start the conversation with Him as you go through the cottage.

Listen

Sometimes it’s easy to spout off a prayer and not wait for the other side of the conversation. Don’t you want to hear what He has to say in return? Be intentional to journal what He lays on your heart and teaches you in these moments. Wait on Him.
